ok well i've just been accused of "protecting" ash's abusive ex-husband who we haven't seen in a year and a half or spoken to outside of divorce proceedings, so i'm guessing a half-true two-year-old callout is recirculating and nobody noticed the date

i'm p tired of people being brazenly lied to and then coming to yell at me over it. i talked about this so much that people griped about the lack of nerd tweets, yet i'm told i "refuse to address" stuff /someone else did/ because it's not in a callout by some kfer with a grudge

there are folks out here who really believe that we are trying to lure in and groom children by releasing a paid adults-only game that's explicitly hostile towards minors in adults-only spaces, and i do not know how to explain to them how absurd that is

i don't know. marl lied and hurt us constantly. he's finally out of our lives, and there's now a bunch of people online who have picked up his lies and use them to hurt us more. it's so deeply hurtful and fucked up. but randos mash retweet because they see the word "abuser"

what am i supposed to do about this? any time we accomplish anything or feel any measure of success, these folks show back up to try and destroy it. nobody stands up to them, twitter doesn't care, and any possible response i could make is reframed as evil
