They're exempt in NM as well. The only reasonable explanation I've been able to come up with for here is that the governor doesn't have the power to shut them down. I suspect the same would be true in TX

Absolutely. It's ridiculous that churches are allowed to be open right now. Any that have Easter service are going to kill people.
