      Oh shit, did you two manage to get an Index already? Luck bastards! Mine still says 3-5 weeks. Clicked "order" within the first 20 seconds of them going live in the recent batch too.

      Ah, I had a Vive (gave it to a friend recently), but had decided to wait for the Index before playing Alyx (or continueing with Fallout 4 VR too).

      I previously had a vive, so for just the headset the index isn't that bad price wise. It was worth the $500 for the massive upgrade over the vive

      Can't blame you. I ordered the controller a few days ago, so it'll just be the vive base stations (I can't see any reason to upgrade those)

      I heard rumours that the tracking was minutely better, that they were quieter and that was enough :) Also, this way I can donate my full Vive kit to someone else.
