Don't get me wrong, the federal govt is fucking up and should be crucified for it, but please don't conflate "the federal government is not doing testing" with "there is no testing happening"

Seeing a lot of folks sharing articles with misleading titles implying that the number of tests directly performed by the CDC is the number of tests being done across the country. A lot of states are doing their own testing, and these clickbait headlines are ignoring that.

Hopefully many of you are in states where your local government is taking decisive action on this. If that's not the case, call your local representative and/or governor's office, and VOTE IN YOUR LOCAL ELECTIONS
