Just ignoring the whiteness & maleness (which are indisputable facts) of Bernie & Biden for a second, how would you equate both of them in the scale of mediocrity? Miles apart interms of values, record & what they fight for. Or are you basing it on a an attribute I’m not seeing?
"I do not think either of these candidates would make a good president" is not the same as "I think these two candidates are basically the same".

I get that. Just curious what characteristics you believe makes Bernie (since I’m biased towards him) a mediocre option ‘similar’ to Biden. I’ve no stake in your elections so just curious. :)

He lacks pragmatism in how to accomplish his policies. The way he's run his campaign and egged on his most toxic supports (likely unintentionally) makes me wary. His campaign staked itself on a large turnout of youth and non-voters which hasn't happened
