TC39 Proposal: `yeet` keyword ## Description Adds the word `yeet` as a keyword to ECMAScript ## Motivation As language evolves and a new generation takes its place in the open source community, so should programming languages. ## Example ``` const x = "hello" yeet x ```

## FAQ **Why??** yeet **But like, what does it *do*?** It yeets things **Won't this cause breaking changes to people already using `yeet` as a variable?** Unlikely. Most people who write ECMAScript are millennials or older and would thus be unlikely to use the term "yeet".
