Realistically this means I probably can't work on this codebase until I move us to headless chrome (which I suspect will have its own interesting challenges, but probably ends up being resolved by something like `alias chrome = "chrome.exe"`

You can run an XServer just grab mobaxterm it is pretty perfect. Also recommend wsltty for shell it works well. I still recommend just using Linux straight if Linux is your thing, but this should not block you.

Does that forward it's clipboard to the windows system clipboard?

I think it's time to retire capybara-webkit - given its QT dependency it's something that generally causes problems everywhere, not just WSL. Consider something like Cuprite :)

Yes, we're actively moving off of it (which I am leading the charge on). Unfortunately for us it's not as simple as just switching to headless chrome, it'll take a few weeks

How are you running windows? I don’t want to run Bootcamp and Fusion/Parallels piss me off. So I guess I’ll be setting up a Windows station with an old PC.
