Me too! I specifically chose a machine I can use for gaming if this doesn't work out as my primary dev box (but I'm hoping it will, I really want to get away from Mac)
Interesting. I also recently ditched my Mac for an XPS developer edition. So far so good. I am curious about windows and WSL tho
Yeah I'm not sure if I'm going to use WSL for my Rust work or not, but my part time job involves working on a Rails app which is for sure going to need to be WSL
As a Linux user who normally gets given a macbook I've been very happy with the WSL2 dev experience on Windows (Rust + Elixir/Erlang) I had a bit of a bumpy start but that's probably unavoidable with an OS I'd not used in ~8 years.
I hear powershell etc is good but other than pasting in some mysterious command to remap capslock to ctrl I've never used it. Been staying 100% in the Linux VM
I've been really impressed with WSL so far. (And `powershell.exe Get-Clipboard` is aliased to `pbpaste` XD)
