For context, I do want to try to do as much of my development as possible in Windows-land, but I work on at least one app that for sure requires Unix, and am going to default to WSL for a while to help with the transition, at least until I can figure out my dotfiles in powershell
you can also easily build rustc in there without doing anything special :)
