oh right i forgot that i'm dependent on command/alt arrows and ^[aefbnp]
Yeah I keep trying to do alt+arrows (which is where cmd+arrows would be on a mac). Apparently it's fn+arrows on this machine (which is where ctrl+arrows would be on a mac)... This is going to be a pain to relearn muscle memory >_<

Really the big issue here is that what my muscle memory says to do will cause me to lose everything I was typing (at least on of sites which don't actually serve HTML anymore, aka the majority) Maybe I should just get one of those "vim mode for your browser" plugins
