I’m in a similar spot. Thinking about a Linux laptop. Would love to hear more specifics on the laptop you choose and how it works out for you.
I haven't decided if I'm going to dual boot linux or not, going to give WSL a try for a while first and see how that works out. This machine is a Razer Blade 15. I wanted something relatively close to my MBP in form factor, with a decent graphics card.

This was not the most cost effective option, you can get the same hardware for cheaper in another machine, but I really liked the design of this one.
