Tess and I were 21 when we got engaged, 23 when we got married, and 26 when we had Ruby. All three of those had folks close to me saying all of them were a mistake. But as time goes on it's become clear they were the only good decisions I've made

being out of changing diapers phase at the early 30s is totally worth it. My first one was born when I was 28 and second one couple years later. At 34 both kids can do simple tasks like using toilets independently or making themselves a sandwich, which is awesome relief.

I too was 26 when my kid was born. So far so good! I like the idea that we can be adults together longer.
