What are your main gripes with Bundler?
Cargo has spoiled me so much. Trying to go back to bundler for a day has been so painful

It's slow (which is more frustrating when you understand the steps involved and why it's slow), and its error messages are obnoxiously long and bury the lede in irrelevant information

Have you tried gel.rb yet for basic bundling operations.

I don't do Ruby much anymore. When I do it's coming in as a consultant. Spending time on moving away from the norm for tools like that isn't a good use of my client's time/money generally speaking
