small brain: the metal laptop is pretty big brain: the metal is sharp and scratches my wrists galaxy brain: the sharp edges are sacrificial material that the laptop can discard to protect itself from danger, like a lizard's tail

It's so much less sharp than it used to be. My wrists literally used to bleed from using a macbook pro.
