Thinking about making parody crates called 'better-[original crate name]' that does nothing other than re-export things from the original crate but with funnier names.

There was a Ruby library that changed the spelling of many methods to BE (especially "initialize<>initialise" and such).
Active support used to monkeypatch an s on the end of a ton of verb predicates (e.g. includes? instead of include?) And yet we rejected hence as an alias for from_now.
