I want to get an Android phone for testing. Something a couple years old, 2017ish, running Oreo. How do I find that cheaply?

Most stores that sell phones should still have something from 2017 (probably a Samsung model from then) at a steep discount (that's usually their "free on contract" phone).
Honestly I probably have one I can mail you if you want. Tess and I have too many old phones laying around
