(I'm poking at a crate I didn't write, and making changes to it -- saving the file caused rustfmt to rewrite a bunch of these statements and now rustc is complaining they import private modules)

all it's actually doing is removing the first :: in `use ::proptest::...`, and this breaks all the tests

is this a weird thing related to the differences between the `use` semantics in 2015 and 2018-edition rust? i'm no expert but i'm pretty sure that is absolutely not supposed to happen
