need a private twitter so I can safely subtweet ppl who follow me without spending too much time making my tweet vague enough!!

yes!!! i can't commit to the overhead of a whole new twitter account tbh
I've had the same desire for talking about genderqueer stuff (which isn't necessarily private but I'm not going to do a public tweetstorm about it, not there yet)

Twitter def lacks in the visibility feature department, it's pretty wild that it's 2019 and the only options are - public twitter, any one can see your tweets - private twitter, only followers can see your tweets what about mutuals? specific mutuals? filtering out specific ppl?
