Tech friends who travel, what class do you fly ( and please explain why, if you like) (premium econ = econ if it is just a bit more leg room, business if you get better seat and food, first = business)

Company pays for upgrade vs not is s pointless distinction for me since I can't travel alone and no company will pay for Tess and Ruby's travel
For once a conference is coming up that's close enough to drive so I'll actually have my scooter too! Last time this happened was when a conference happened to be while I was moving to Canada. (I tried flying with my scooter once and the TSA destroyed it)
