I've been saving them up too. I know I'm going to die dozens of times anyway, so I don't go into battle with a pocket full of change.

They are kinda useless in my experience. If I am down to 3 pellets I'm probably not going to get out of it. I had not used any spirit emblems until O'rin, and had something like 800. Lots of other stuff, I am like a depression era hoarder.

I feel mostly similar, but I like to slip a pellet in whenever I've taken an attack for <1/2 health, can save a gourd use
