thinking of stuff I try to rewrite in rust for practice actually... infer might be good -- mostly purely functional internals, would really benefit from better performance, Iterator makes doing lazy streams easy...

One advice, avoid dynamic memory allocation most of the time. Using `Box::new` might just be a great option but you're better off using the stack

is there any other option if you have a recursive structure? anything whose size is unknown at compile time has to go on the heap right?
