I spent the day really digging into a meaty project using async/await in Rust for the first time today. Folks are definitely under-rating this feature. IMO the big win isn't skipping combinators like `and_then`, etc. It's the seamless integration with sync code returning Result.

I really hope we see the ability to put `async fn`s on traits and the ability to talk about `async fn`s at the type level shortly after stabilization, as this will be a huge feature for libraries when those additions land
