I started using
@decksetapp after@derekprior and@sgrif recommended. Limited visual abilities, but great at formatting code. Worked perfect especially for a talk where I had to do a LOT of code rearranging2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

Doesn’t seem to support code block line numbers though

There is line highlighting, though, if that helps

I’m wondering why “not” include line numbers though. I mean if a developer is giving a presentation what faster way to reference a line on the screen? But it just amazes how this doesnt make the feature set.

I think you can only really show ~20 lines on a slide anyways, so it becomes less important to number them.

I agree but still.. I want line numbers. I guess you can call it a “very nice” nice-to-have.

Where you might reference line numbers, consider adding a new slide that highlights the line or lines you mention. I do this often even on 3-5 lines of code total.

Definitely agree on highlighting over using line numbers. When you've highlighted the lines you're talking about, it's easy for the audience to quickly follow. When you say "lines 3 through 5" it's a lot of mental overhead to keep up

e.g. I think https://youtu.be/wxPehGkoNOw?t=368 … would have been way harder to follow if I used line numbers instead of highlighting there.
