A crate with no dependencies has a 4 line `Cargo.lock`. Adding `tokio = "*"` will increase that to 571 lines

I'm not saying this is inherently bad, but it gives me pause adding a crate which depends on `tokio` to http://crates.io causes +448 to Cargo.lock

Tokio includes 59 crates, the majority are tiny. The flip side is we could focus on combining mio, bytes, slab, iovec, ..., into Tokio proper and switch to re-implementing utils like num_cpus, rand, ... in house. Cargo.lock is not intended to be compact.
