Interesting how price expectations have changed. In 2007, the original iPhone cost $400 and was considered crazy expensive for the time. Now $750 is Apple's "budget" option.
My point was more that it was interesting how $400 for a phone (on contract even) was considered insanely expensive in 2007, and nobody bats an eye at the cheapest option today being introduced at $750. Wasn't criticizing Apple, just making an observation about expectations

I remember a *lot* of people batting an eye last year before people had used the iPhone X. I did too. I don’t think anyone who’s seen or used an X doesn’t understand the difference of the value proposition. People argued for months the X was a one-shot total failure.
