Interesting how price expectations have changed. In 2007, the original iPhone cost $400 and was considered crazy expensive for the time. Now $750 is Apple's "budget" option.
In 2007, that price got you the state of the art (which was also the best and only option from Apple), comparing that to 2 year old hardware doesn't really match up.
