serializable transaction isolation levels. Just changes all your selects to `SELECT FOR SHARE` which causes a deadlock

haven't use mysql 8 yet, does `select for share skip lock` did the trick ?

`SKIP LOCKED` is extremely useful for certain use cases, but has nothing to do with matching the semantics of a serializable transaction
