Does anyone know the stabilization status of `#[proc_macro]`? I can't seem to find an answer. It looks like it was slated to be stable in 1.27, but that didn't happen

Replying to @benj_fry
And no, I don't recall it being announced as stable at RustConf

@steveklabnik said the pr to stabilize was merged the day of rustconf (after either opening or closing keynote iirc?), so I would expect them to not require a flag on nightly and to be in stable whenever that branches, right?2 replies 0 retweets 3 likes -
Hm the only issue that I could find on it had the "stabilize" checkbox unchecked

that's on the tracking issue in https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/38356 … right? I think that checkbox may be incorrectly left open: https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/52081 … and that makes https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/50911 … the other main stabilization from the tracking issue that Steve was referencing on stage?

Good to know, thanks. I could have sworn I tried it on nightly but I must not have.
