If only universities offered a programming degree
I cringe every time I see a posting mention a CS degree. It's a useful thing to have exist, but it's just so far removed from the skills required of a developer.

Not sure how a university would train you all these practical skills, especially with a field that moves so fast. That's really something your employer should do.

Not aware of many employers that hire an untrained employee and then pay to train them.
