(This is not to diminish the excitement for seeing this land in nightly, but seeing a commit with "this should not be considered the final form of this API" when there are literally only weeks left really worries me)
Are we really still planning to have async/await be part of Rust 2018? Having something that hasn't yet been implemented enter beta in 6-18 weeks seems absolutely insane to me, given how long similar impact features have been given to cook in nightly

Yes this is way too important to rush, and seems very unlikely for the Edition. But as
@withoutboats says, we've also just been heads down trying to get the pieces onto nightly as soon as possible, and then we'll see where we're at.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
