      I don’t think Carolla would disagree with you about these points. But they have nothing to do with *having access* to checking accounts in the present day, as if banks aren’t offering checking accounts to people based on their race.

      Ok. That makes sense. It’s just that none of that has anything to do with distrust of banks or wanting to stay off the grid, so that part seems irrelevant to the argument of them not having access to checking accounts.
