Yes. Though the point here is that the federal government pays for it because its important in stopping COVID and saving lives. Seems worth it and cost effective. That amount per night also includes 3 meals, security, and support services. Probably not like your apartment.
Is Covid surging in SF right now? Are we requiring them to quarantine in their rooms? Is Covid less likely to spread indoors? …Doesn’t seem like this really helps stop covid. But does help you virtue signal.
