Maybe someone can show this to @MattHaneySF who still believes sf is doing great with tech workers.
I didn't say we were doing great--I shared slides and data from our city controller from a hearing that tech hiring and overall tech job numbers in SF currently exceed pre pandemic numbers.
But this study shows 35 pct loss in tech jobs. Your slides presented a different story which made no sense based on what were all seeing.
They were slides from the city's economist and controller. This study looks like it's based on LinkedIn profiles. It is something I am concerned about and we need to be focused on. Happy to chat further anytime Mark and get your thoughts and ideas.
Im happy to talk and share ideas but its not clear you and sf want tech any more. It appears to now be the least welcoming city. Theres no way i would house another startup in sf.
But at least we’re super welcoming to the homeless and criminals!
