There is no evidence that overall violent crime is up in SF, though property crime (especially car breakins) are up and have been trending up for a decade.

oh please...ive watched boudin turn home break ins into simple trespass. a violent felony becomes a misdemeanor. that is juking the stats. and that is only one example
