Does SF have no type of independent "inspector general"-positions, or dare I say.... a public advocate? Do we just rely on @dennisherrera , @chesaboudin , and Mayoral subordinate to investigate their "family" and friends and expect them to be hard-hitting?

It was pretty much the last item that he and
@dennisherrera were in sync on. At the time, Herrera’s public lack of support for the proposal was based on his record of “accomplishment” in the space, which is being seriously questioned now. It will most certainly qualify next year.
