I am a lifelong Democrat and SF resident, voted for Clinton, Biden, Gov Newsom, Mayor Breed and I am voting for your recall. Answer the actual criticisms, doesn't matter who is funding it, SF voters are the ones deciding it and you aren't listening to them.

He is listening at the end of the DA we are surrounded by typical DA’s from more conservative counties that “are tough on crime” still have the same issues San Francisco is dealing with. We need to rethink the justice system and get to the root of crime. People are charged in SF

Nonsense, he is deflecting blame in every single interview he gives, and he's giving a lot in last month. He has taken zero responsibility, and appears to just want to continue his old role as a Public Defender.

I also do not think that we should be jailing drug offenses and the entire homeless/drug situation is something to be handled outside of prison-system. I'm on board with that, the problem is his office appears to want or be incapable of jailing anyone.

Lol, yes, now that jury service is open again, they do have a backlog, but don't appear to be able to convince judges to hold violent offenders. There are almost no cases being charged for burglaries, shoplifting, and robberies, the 3 things San Franciscans are most fed-up with.

Part 2: According to FBI crime data, the city saw assaults and homicides increase in 2020, while robberies and most property crimes decreased.

Lol. Robberies decreased because no one was on the streets to be robbed, there was a pandemic. Homicides in SF are a tiny #, and have actually gone up recently. Burglaries skyrocketed because that was the only place to go steal something.

Larceny/Shoplifting decreased by a tiny amount because almost ALL the stores were closed. The few that remained open Groceries, Pharmacies, Target have been deluged with shoplifters.
