Breakdown of #SFrealestate from @Compass — condos are in trouble, as are luxury properties. I sold my place before the crash and had been actively looking for a multi-unit, but not now — the quality of life has declined too far, and will continue downward. https://www.compass.com/marketing/email/b2b2f289-bd9c-4e42-b3b5-a25a6ee1b381.html …

Climate and beauty are timeless in SF, but do we want to build an economy focused on a drug, mental health & homeless industrial complex ? Nevada is my backup plan as feels like a sinking
in SF but do hope we can turn it around.1 reply 0 retweets 6 likes -
If you end up moving there please don’t take your California politics with you. Californians are ruining that State. As soon as I can afford to move I’ll be right behind you.

When you say you can’t afford to move, are you saying that your life is less expensive in CA than it would be in NV?

I’m in a rent controlled apartment and my rent is so low that it’s tough for me to move.

I suspected that. I would prefer to stay but fear this new expansion of the drugs-to-rehab economy. And I have a kid and hard to see her grow up with people like @chesaboudin who care more about protecting drug dealers than keeping us safe.
