Good luck @MattHaneySF getting any more $$$ for your new Dept of Sanitation or for Mental Health SF. The voters are onto you and until you and @LondonBreed @HillaryRonen @chesaboudin go after the drug dealers, no more $$$ for the Homeless Industrial Complex.https://twitter.com/MattHaneySF/status/1295430894866448384 …

Who are the SF Teapartiers? I’m all for spending money if we can improve the quality of life for our residents but am not sure these initiatives will do that.

The whole lot of the SF anti-homeless, anti-progressive twittersphere. You guys are the SF equivalent of the teaparty

I’m definitely pro human- sheltered and unsheltered. A compassionate response is multi-faceted and complex. Would love to talk with you sometime about ways to get involved and help as I do care.

Sounds good. I have a few questions. What is the “homeless industrial complex”? And do you think the war on drugs has helped?

I do think the “Your brain on drugs” frying pan
commercials had an impact on me as a kid and have wondered if the city would consider an anti Fentanyl or drug PR campaign. Your questions are interesting
and I will give them some thought!1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

I saw those commercials and thought the same thing as a child, and still have ended up addicted to drugs, because I had untreated depression, anxiety and trauma that I only knew how to dull with drugs and alcohol. No war on drugs can stop someone from hurting

I agree. So many suffer these days with depression and pain and anxiety among other illness. Part of my own pain involves watching people on the streets suffering and feeling helpless at times. I think most people in SF want to help even if they seem like “Teapartiers”
