Sadly, they filled in the road valleys, as the combined death toll of car accidents plus people falling into the abyss was considered too high. A compromise had to be made somewhere, I guess.

totally but if it were up to me i’d pave over europe and make the velodromes there. maybe use the excess dirt here to square it off
