    Also I would just like to report that the person giving my shot asked if she could double-check my ID because I looked too young to match my birthdate, so it appears my strict regimen of late-night hours, perversion, bookishness and avoiding childbirth is working.

    Melty, savoury goodness, salty but not overly strong, all comfort-food notes but structured w a pleasant brassica bitterness as if to say, "I'm a little fancy, even if I have an annatto-dyed rind and come in a peel-off package." Very easy eating! 10/10 would snack on again!

    Cheese tasting! COVID has me sniffly but it has not taken away my taste buds! 😬 Tonight I tried Port Salut, a French cow's milk cheese I've never encountered before. Nose is creamy, caramelized, a bit starchy. It's got a dense, sticky texture, the kind that breaks crackers.

    Oh my fucking gawd.

    Elon Musk is purchasing Twitter because he was upset that Twitter had suspended an account that was mocking a transgender female. This should give you an idea of his definition of "free speech."

    Nine days later, the roses all died but these white flowers (alstroemeria), barely visible in the original bouquet, are still going strong and are quite beautiful all by themselves. I so love the evolution of a flower bouquet.

    By this new policy, you can be in a gay triad where everyone's been tested and found negative for all STIs, and everyone uses condoms for buttsex just in case, and you'll still be considered high-risk. How on earth does this make sense.

    I do not understand how some health authorities, based on decades of research, can insist on how crucial it is to have safer sex while other health authorities with access to the same research and information can create policy that seems to have no idea safer sex even exists.

    *We know* that unprotected sex is a far riskier activity than protected sex. That's what safer sex and HIV prevention authorities have been telling us for literally decades. It is true regardless of whether a penis is going into a butt or a vag. Why is this not reflected here?
