But Rep. Moulton, Americans have shown we aren't into mass ground transit. Every time I see a bus go by it's empty, and nobody tells me they took the train anywhere, except metro NYC. Would Americans accept your rail plan? What data proves that for you?

I thought that way until I had to go Boston-NYC every week and realized moving along on the train beats sitting on the tarmac- plenty of room, can power up right away. Yeah, busses suck

While I entirely agree with you that the US needs to up its national transit landscape, maybe start with the transit system in your backyard, Congressman.

He won’t answer me as to why Massachusetts spends 7 times the national average on road maintenance. He wants a rail line here that will be inefficient and add to the bloated hackerama we already have.
