He loves the talking point 11.6% of burglaries are solved. Totally ignores that relatively few people are committing most burglaries. Solve 1 in 10, effectively stop 2 or 3 in 10, etc

Fair point that nobody wants to report in person for jury duty during COVID. Different question why can’t jury service be done via video. Probably good reasons.

Supposedly 72% of burglary cases brought in SF are charged. Max 6 years sentence for burglary. Chesa reluctant to charge with that punishment. Supposedly wants more cases solved but clear he doesn’t want to charge given harsh sentences.

State supposedly hasn’t picked up a single prisoner from county jail since March or April. COVID is complicating a number of aspects of the problem.
