The gig economy has crept into the care economy, and the baseline exploitation and abuse of both are feeding off each other. My idea: Stop blaming disabled people for being trapped at this intersection.

There are good arguments to be made on the flaws of the gig economy. But I don't get why it's supposed to be EXTRA-bad that gig economy workers are doing tasks for disabled folks. Isn't that just an example of disabled people having equal access to services abled folks also use?
