    Today, the pilot for MyUoY, a campus app that included attendance tracking, was supposed to start today. Since the announcement of the pilot, the information around it (and the policies behind it) has been contradictory, and often simply not there.

    Hey designers! Applying accessibility controls into your products won't undermine the design or break it! If turning on an accessibility feature (like enlarged font) breaks the usability of the product it was a bad design to begin with!

    By introducing a policy like this, Sam Smiths have projected a world view of devices being addictive conversation killers that must be excluded. This is an _extremely_ privileged view of technology, and the amount of discriminatory views on display were hugely concerning.

    I got a reply, but deleted it. Luckily that doesn't remove the notification! A correction (e.g. "sorry, we replied to the wrong person", "we thought you were talking about a different feature", ...) would be nicer than just straight-up deleting your tweets, Slack.

    Can I ask, , *why* have you decided not to let people disable the WYSIWYG editor on mobile? Why add yet another option to desktop Slack, but leave it out of the mobile version?

    You got it! As for iOS, right now, we don't have plans to include the same toggle within our mobile apps. We're sorry for any trouble this causes.
