2 Legend daughters of Richard Williams. God Bless Mr. Williams for giving us these 2 Legends

Those are three legends
-
I saw him: Scorned for his methods Maligned for shielding them Called a LIAR about their talent Ridiculed for his joy in their wins Hated because of racial pride Caricatured for his authenticity Now UNIVERSALLY imitated. Truth = Richard MADE his daughters great, thus is GREATER.
-
He gave all. One enduring image of him that has stuck with me is him raising a "Welcome to the Williams show" sign at one of those meetings between the sisters. A fulfilling moment- It paid off.
-
He deserved every OUNCE of celebration he did for his girls. WE are just now celebrating the way he did back then. Williams-celebration is now a worldwide THING. They have been the only consistent face of the WTA for 20 YEARS! Everyone else is a one hit wonder. Richard IS right.

If you've ever watch the documentary about them, you realize their mother,
#OracenePrice, was just as important, and also coached them, but also is a big part of the wonderful women they are. Let's shout out both! -
True, but this time I chose to honor the genius that is Richard Williams. According to Venus, this was all his dream. Praising him does not negate Oracene whatsoever.

I’ve been watching them for 20 years and tonight’s stories had my ‘allergies’ acting up too!

I’ve never had that love from my sister. I love seeing you two and other sisters with that closeness.
-
I didn't either and seeing Venus and Serena makes me wonder what could have been. I still love her but we're not close at all.
-
Not too late. Get to know her!
