Congratulations! It’s a big step but it’s one you won’t regret

I have a quiz tomorrow. Prayers are welcome

Got my Masters at 45! Scared I’d be behind...turns out all that life experiences had me ahead. You got this...I promise!
-
Same,
@WinkaDink2! On to a PhD now. Could not have done it when younger. Took life experience first. -
I’m thinking about it...my name is Katrina as well! How bout that!
-
Nice to meet you, fellow academic & Katrina! I don't believe it's something I could have done in the US. Very happy to be overseas while undertaking this challenge. If you go down this path of suffering & triumph, I hope you kick loads of behind & are wildly successful.

It's about time the made a movie about the William sisters. Just a father who trained his daughters to be the greatest ever tennis player!
-
Richard Williams was/is amazing. Taught himself tennis so he could teach his girls. That's hardcore level of beast mode!! RESPECT!

-
Yes & we certainly can not forget that “Strong Sista” Oresene standing next to him teaching as well!!!!
-
So true. We tend to forget about her because she has always quietly supported instead of being in front of the cameras.

Outstanding!! I could watch this 100 times.
-
I had just commented on FB that I’ve watched it over a dozen times & tear up every single time. As a tennis player, it’s inspiring & as a parent it’s motivational.

A dedicated father and an equally dedicated daughter. A winning combination.

-
I am a fan. My plan is to be that involved in my kids gifts and talent.
-
It is truly inspiring how he's been dedicated to his childrens. I too aspire to be this dedicated to my children one day.
-
This is one thing that has set us behind as black people. Whites are very dedicated in their kids future. This proves that with little inspiration and interest in our kids life, 110% chance they will succeed.
-
I've never seen evidence that this type of dedication to our children has ever been a problem. If you look at us as a whole since the first enslaved African was brought here.Without this level of dedication, we wouldn't be where we are 2day.But I get what you're saying
