For sake of full disclosure, mine was Large Marge in Pee Wee's Big Adventure. I was like... 2 or 3? My uncle used to pause that scene to make me run out of the room screaming, claim it was done, then I'd walk right back in with it still paused and run out screaming, again.

I remember being about five years old and sitting at the table eating SpaghettiOs while watching Raiders of the Lost Ark for the first time. I associated spaghetti from a can with melting faces for a long time after that. Totally fueled my love for horror makeup/tricks though.

Probably Chernabog from Night on Bald Mointain in the original Fantasia. Actually the spirits of the dead in that bit were scarier. You know what, just the whole thing. NO SENSE in a sequence like that following a family of happy pegasi and ostriches dancing with hippos.

Man, that sequence in Fantasia is legendary - I remember being really disturbed by the dinosaur bit in that movie 'cuz of the dinosaur fight, as well!

a combo of accidentally turning on an episode of Tales from the Crypt and Curly, the skeleton mascot from Goosebumps little me morphed them together into one terrifying nightmare creature that used to literally haunt my dreamspic.twitter.com/vs9LUOvwuW

I so clearly remember the scene in Nightmare Before Christmas when Oogie Boogie's skin gets ripped off and it's nothing but bugs underneath and crying. but if commercials count, there was a smoking PSA where a woman got progressively covered in tar that *haunted* me when I was 2.pic.twitter.com/SjGC5v1fd8

Oh gosh, I could understand that being really creepy!! For some reason Labyrinth never spooked me, but I used to have similar problems with Return to Oz, Mombi scared me SO BADLY as a kid that it was hard to watch the movie, but I love it, now!
