I think developers have a leg up on everyone else for SEO, because they know how to read/write the code in a page and understand machine interpretation and workings of pages. But you could argue that marketers have a "leg up" on marketing, PR folks for links, designers for UX and so forth, just as easily. "Good SEOs" have built from a specific core specialty but understand the whole spectrum IMO
I really think our industry has opportunities for just about anyone with brains… I have no tech background/ skills, still managed somehow :) #VCBuzz
