Raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour is about more than economics – it’s about our values. Families like Adriana's should not have to live in poverty. The Senate needs to fight for working families. #FightFor15

We need to change the talking points from “1 million jobs lost” to the fact that one person working $7.15 an hour needs 2 jobs, whereas at $15 an hour only needs 1 jobs. We are cutting the number of jobs you need to eat and pay your rent and electricity etc.

Why raise the minimum wage? Instead, promote job growth which would bring competitive wages. If I'm unemployed right now and the minimum wage goes to 15, im still unemployed.

2/8/21: The Congressional Budget Office estimates that a $15 minimum wage increase would cost 1.4 million jobs. It would also increase the federal deficit by $54 billion. And drive prices higher for goods and services.

The minimum wage should be 15/hr. People can’t live today on the same salary the that has been the same since 2004. 15/hr. Will at least come close to equaling the price of living in increasing over the years. If there is one politician that agrees please say
