(14/14) Also, I wrote an open-source file compression (BWT is involved) program (known as BWTC32Key) in JS that uses Unicode to efficiently store data in text compared to other methods, and it has AES256 encryption too. I just love Unicode!

(12/?) But in the meantime, I use 15.0.01+11.0.01 Upper as the font ALL pages are set to use in Firefox. Meaning any emoji beyond Unicode 11 are in 16x16, while modern emoji use my OS's. On my Ubuntu machine, the entire GUI is set to the merger too. SVG fonts in Linux would rock!

(11/?) I wish SVG(Z) fonts would be just as usable as TTF and OTF so that ALL of Unicode could be displayable everywhere rather than a 65536 glyph subset of it like what my Unifont merger is. If you can help make Linux support SVG(Z) fonts, it would make a difference for humanity

(10/?) I wish Unicode would make some sort of compatibility font based on the code charts with SVG(Z). Or, failing that, an official Unifont SVG(Z) build, because several browsers still support the SVG version (But using SVGZ was my idea & unofficial, but ends size complaints)

(9/12) SVG(Z) webfonts also can have arbitrary tables since it's all XML, & one could have as many complex text features & glyphs as they want, & in fact the ENTIRETY of Unicode could be shoved into a single file. The Unicode Code Charts font could actually be usable in SVG(Z)

(8/?) FontForge doesn't like the OTFs though, so 15.x+15.x Upper+15.x(U)CSUR is the last SVG(Z) version possible. I hope you can help convince people to support SVG(Z) webfonts again since they have infinite glyphs & can have color+animation.

(7/?) Via iOS Safari's SVG webfont (NOT SVG-in-OpenType) format, and FontForge, I was able to merged 15.0.01 + 15.0.01 Upper + 15.0.01 (U)CSUR into a single font file, & via gzipping it into an SVGZ, got it to the same size as a WOFF(2) of my TTF fork. Let me know if you want it.

(5/?) If I don't have to stop early due to breaking changes or early TTF phase-out before Unicode+Unifont 16 happens, then I will happily wait it out until 16.x happens. I'm very interested in seeing how the extra Legacy Computing symbols turn out, especially the game ones

(4/?) Also, via a program called TTF2PNG, (which uses FreeType) I was able to make a 4096x65536 PNG that I eventually fit into under 1MiB via using zip on it (the PNG was just over 1MiB without zip). So what I made is a Unicode character chip image for a fantasy retro PC system.

(3/?) I thus ask if versions above 15.0.01 will phase out TTF early, or would do stuff that could pose problematic to merging with an earlier Upper. The merger was done via deleting ALL the hexbox characters in lower before merging in 11.0.01 Upper.

I also didn't use Hangul Jamo because browsers combine them, so we throw out that ~256, and then any controls, so in reality there is likely a max of 15.5 bits per 16bit char.
